Ribbon Mixers - Technical Features
This is a special-purpose mixer designed to mix the liquid and solid raw material for complete mixing. Inner and outer ribbons are in opposite directions to achieve continuous movement of the material along the axis and in both directions for finite mixing. The top cover is provided with a solid and liquid raw material opening. Discharge of material is through bottom flap which is operated pneumatically.
Batch charging automation is achieved by mounting the blender on a load platform connected to ll individual raw material feeders to control feed rate. Specially designed air spray nozzles are provided at the top to achieve uniform spraying of liquid raw materials.
Generally, batch time is taken as 15 to 20 minutes including charging and discharging of raw materials.
